Strange occurrences on a pro-Putin YouTube page.

Several videos in support of Putin for the upcoming election disappeared for one day from YouTube and an unlikely Putin supporter raises some eyebrows.

On 15 February the official channel vote4putin had shown just half of the movies uploaded there previously, the other half were marked as “access  restricted”. The access had returned back to normal on 16 February. This issue made the new in Russian media.

Another topic that had been widely discussed in the media was the unexpected address by famous actress Culpan Xamatova in favour of Putin in the series “I will vote for Putin”.

Unlike other personalized addresses on the official vote4putin channel, which have gotten less than 1000 views each, this movie has attained 150,000+ views  and has been widely discussed for its strange composition and obvious multiple jumpcuts.  The video has raised many questions as Xamatova has never been in open favour of Putin.

Her “thanks” to Putin for supporting her renowned fund to help children suffering from cancer and her nearly crying face and strange manner of talking made many of her colleagues think that she had been blackmailed into making this movie.
