Helpful resource: The Data Journalism Handbook (now in Russian)

Oct 17, 2012

The folks over at Data Driven Journalism have announced the release of the first translation of their Data Journalism Handbook – and it’s in Russian!

For those who haven’t heard of it, the the DJ Handbook is a fantastic resource put together as part of an open source book-writing project. It’s filled with tons of useful explanations and advice  by some of the world’s top data journalists.  The book talks about everything from how to find data, to how to scrape it, how to wrangle it, and how to visualize it and turn it into innovative and informative news stories.

The online version of the book is free and available here (in Russian) and (in English).
